Dental experience is helpful, but a positive attitude and the ability

Position Summary
As a Dental Administrative Assistant, you will be the
first and lasting impression of our practice. Your role connects patients,
parents and the dental team, helping ensure smooth operations from the
first phone call through final checkout.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Communication
- Welcome, check in and dismiss patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle all incoming calls promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain a calm and pleasant manner in person and on the phone.
- Conduct patient introduction, follow-up and treatment calls.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Manage the appointment book and patient recall system.
- Reserve appropriate time for emergencies and new patients.
- Help maintain smooth patient flow.
- Coordinate closely with the clinical dental team.
Financial Administration
- Obtain financial information and enter it accurately.
- Collect payment for dental procedures.
- Manage and process insurance claims.
- Maintain accurate financial and patient records.
- Prepare and proofread financial agreements.
- Explain financial and scheduling policies to patients.
Administrative Operations
- Maintain complete and accurate records.
- Process incoming mail, email and text messages.
- Manage patient waitlists.
- Prepare and proofread patient correspondence.
- Ensure timely follow-up on patient matters.
