Meet Our Dentists

Anjani Koneru DMD MSc FRCD(C)

Dr. Anjani Koneru obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2001. She completed a Hospital Dental General Practice Residency at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon in 2003. She worked for a non-profit organization in Prospect Hill, North Carolina and returned to Canada to complete a three year Master of Science Degree in the Specialty of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Toronto and Hospital for Sick Kids in 2008.

Dr. Koneru is the pediatric dentist for the Central and Northern Saskatchewan Cleft lip and Palate program and currently sits on the Scientific Committee for the Canadian Dental Association. Dr. Koneru is both American and Canadian Board certified in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Koneru is dedicated to caring for children and adults with special needs. She believes that children of all abilities deserve the same opportunities to reach their potential. She is a mother of two, soccer coach and loves the SK roughriders. Dr. Koneru was born and raised in Saskatoon and is strong supporter of the CHEP milk program and Saskatoon Food Bank.

Mark Berscheid BSc DMD MDent FRCD(C)

 

Dr. Mark Berscheid completed his three year pediatric dentistry specialty training at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre through the University of Manitoba. He is Canadian Board Certified and a part time Assistant Professor at the University of Saskatchewan, where he is the head of the Pediatric Dental Program. He has a great joy for providing care for pediatric patients and enjoys the excitement and energy the littlest bring to dentistry. He is working on a study looking at silver diamine fluoride and approximal carious lesions. When he is not teaching and practicing dentistry Dr. Berscheid is an avid runner and busy father to three little people. He was born and raised in Saskatoon and is happy to be at home contributing to his community

 Erika Ridgway DDS, BMedSc

 

Dr. Erika Ridgway obtained her Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta. She subsequently pursued specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of British Columbia. Much of her program was focused on providing care to young and medically compromised patients at the BC Children’s Hospital. Concurrently, she completed her MSc in Craniofacial Science with her research focusing on dental panoramic positioning and preparation errors for mixed dentition patients. For the past two years, she has been a council member for the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan. Additionally, she is a member of the Saskatoon Dental Society. Dr. Ridgway is happy to be back in the prairies. Outside of the office . Ridgway enjoys yoga, cross-country skiing, and travelling. She has enjoyed meeting her wonderful patients and their families.
